The Mission

Natalie has worked for 30 years in the health industry as a physiotherapist, both public and private settings.

Throughout her journey as a therapist, Natalie has seen how mental health can have huge impacts on an individual's general health and wellbeing.  And it was this that prompted

Natalie to pursue a master's degree in counselling as a response to this need and is now a fully qualified counsellor offering counselling as part of her established business Acacia Health and Physiotherapy

Natalie offers a trauma informed, person-centered practice with special interests in chronic pain management, loss and grief, addiction and trauma.

Alongside her private practice work Natalie also works for a not-for-profit organization in a family and relationships service; seeing children, adults, couples and families.

Vision

Natalie is happy to meet with individuals (tweens to seniors) and couples and is well placed to consider the total biopsychosocial management of clients. Understanding the impact of the individual's physical health, psychological wellbeing and social circumstances in doing life.

Natalie considers herself an eclectic therapist - while emphasis is placed on a person-centered approach, she also utilizes polyvagal theory, somatic practice, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and

attachment theory.
